PAYMENTS
Please be aware we are unable to process your order without a deposit.
WEDDING CAKES
We ask for a £100.00 deposit to secure your date, half the balance is required 1 month before the big day. The remainder of the balance is due either on collection or on viewing your cake before the delivery.
BIRTHDAY CAKES
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking and the remainder of the balance on collection.
NOTICE REQUIRED
Ideally we like a weeks notice on a birthday cake and a months notice on a wedding cake, however we are able to make cakes on the day so please get in touch for those emergencies.
Please note a late charge of 10% may be added onto a cake if less than a weeks notice is given
DELIVERY
Optional delivery is available on request and charged per mile.
WEDDING DELIVERY
We offer a delivery service or a delivery and set up service.
Delivery only service will be on the requested day at a convenient time for ourselves based around our other commitments. We are happy to set the cake up providing the cake table is ready when we arrive. We can not be held responsible if we are unable to set up the cake on arrival.
The delivery and set up service, we deliver and set up the cake at a time convenient to the venue.
CANCELLATIONS AND ALTERATIONS
Should you need to cancel your cake for any reason, please be aware that the minimum deposit is not refundable or transfereable however any payments made above this amount will be refunded. If any work has been carried out or any specific items bought in, these will be charged for. The minimum term for cancellations is 2 weeks prior to collection / delivery for celebration cakes and 1 month prior to collection / delivery for wedding cakes.
That being said we will always try our very best to accommodate your situation so please give us a call as soon as you know of any issues.
Where possible we endeavour to meet any alterations. However some decoration items may be made or ordered further in advance, if this is the case there maybe additional charges for any work carried out that is no longer required. Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to make any changes.
REFUNDS
The minimum deposit is non refundable or transferable.
TRANSPORTATION OF CAKES
All cakes must be transported either flat in the boot or footwell of the car, holding a cake or placing on a car seat may result in damage to your cake.
ALLERGY INFORMATION
Please ask for information on allergens.
All our cakes are suitable for vegetarians.
NUTS
Excluding our carrot and fruit cake, all our cakes are nut free, however we do not recommend for severe allergies due to nuts being present within the bakery.
EGG FREE
Developed specifically for customers with egg intolerances or religious dietary requirements. As it contains milk it is not suitable for a vegan diet.
This is not recommended for severe allergies due to eggs being present within the bakery.
DAIRY FREE/LACTOSE FREE
We can produce a red velvet dairy free cake upon request, however this is not suitable for severe allergies as milk is present within the bakery.
GLUTEN FREE
All of our cakes contain gluten.
CARE OF YOUR CAKE
Store cake in a cool dry place, not by a direct heat source or in direct sunlight. Do not store in a refrigerator. The cake is best consumed within 4 days of the collection date, once cut cover with cling film to prevent drying.
CAKE STANDS
We have a variety of cake stands that can be hired to accompany your cake. We charge £10.00 per stand to hire for 4 days, plus a cash refundable security bond to cover loss or damage. The bond will be returned once we have the stand back.
If you require a stand with out the cake, this will be charged at £15.00 to hire.
